This coming Tuesday, April 7, will see the release of a Christian film I am anxiously awaiting to see. It is an independent film that has been described to me by the director, as a love letter to Christ. The film is called 40: The Temptation of Christ. It is the passion project, and debut feature film of producer/director Douglas James Vail, screenplay by Reed Lackey.
I had the privilege to interview these filmmakers for a podcast (coming soon) to hear their struggle, and joys in the midst of great set backs, in making this film without any studio help.
40: The Temptation of Christ will release to online streaming services including iTunes, Amazon Prime Video, YouTube, The Microsoft Store, Vudu, and be available as DVD and Blu-ray at Target, Walmart, and Barnes & Noble.
You can find more information on the official website.
